Durachute®/Thinpack

BAE Systems’ Durachute® and Thinpack are Aircrew Emergency Bailout Parachutes with low descent rates and opening shock. The Durachute® is a commercial off-the-shelf equivalent to the Thinpack. Through BAE Systems, both options are environmentally-sealed for extended service and reduced operational costs. Integrated into a backpack style or into fixed-wing and helicopter crew seats, the parachutes are FAA-certified in accordance with TSO C-23d and are offered in 36 different configurations with varying AADs, canopy releases and ripcord handles.
